Trump Considers Massive Attack on Iran: “They’ve Felt Too Little Pain”
In an interview with Axios, Trump says he is considering attacks on Iran that are even bigger than the ones the US carried out when the war began. He says he has not made a final decision yet, but that he is close.
Trump also says that Iran “wants to negotiate” but is not ready to make a deal yet.
– They haven’t felt enough pain yet, he says.
In a post on his own platform Truth Social, he promises a “major military punishment” for Iran and its allied Houthi rebels, after the Houthis attacked two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.
In the post, Trump writes that he is “very disappointed” in the Houthis, who “have behaved very professionally and smartly up until now,” according to the president.
