The King's 50th birthday celebration ends with a concert at Norrbro.

Then he sings in Magnus Ugglas' "King in the bar"

- He sang along and laughed a lot, says Aftonbladet's court expert Jenny Alexandersson.

The celebration is on its fourth day and at 2:30 p.m. the horse and carriage procession that runs along large parts of central Stockholm left.

3,000 soldiers from the army parade together with the navy and air force units, TT writes. The armed forces' music choirs provide the musical entertainment.

At Skeppsholmen, the royal couple boarded the royal sloop Vasaorden, which took them by water back to the castle.

After the procession there was a concert at Norrbro with artists such as Lill Lindfors, Björn Skifs, Tomas Ledin, Loreen, Magnus Uggla and Peter Jöback.

Crown Princess Victoria was caught on camera when Thomas Ledin burned "Part of my heart" on stage.

Even the king was in a singing mood:

- I see that the king sings along to Magnus Ugglas' "king in the bar", says the court expert. The television images showed how the king applauded and fell to his knees.

- He sang along and laughed a lot.

- People are sitting and standing along the quay, the sun is warming and here and there people are toasting champagne.

Aftonbladet was on hand to talk to some of those who made it to the procession route.

- We are here to look at the king, hopefully we will see him. It is important to celebrate for everyone who lives in Stockholm, but also everyone who comes here, says Inger.

Favorite memory

Linda had also brought her family to celebrate the monarch's 50th anniversary.

- It is a historic day. I don't think we'll ever see another king or queen sit that long. I wanted to bring my family and celebrate this, she says.

Could you imagine working 50 years in the same place?

- You should never say never, but I don't think so. But Sweden has gone through so many different parts, so for the king it probably didn't feel like a workplace.

Do you have a favorite memory with the king?

- It's probably the tsunami number, I think we needed it as a country, but not least the pandemic as well. Then I have happy sports memories where he was a fantastically nice person and a proud ambassador for our sport, regardless of which branches it was.
