Pita Limjaroenrat and Cholnan Srikaew met again on Friday, September 15, at a seminar event on the topic "Which Political Party That Thai People Need," organised by students of the Advanced Political and Election Development course at the Ratchaphruek North Park Club's auditorium.
Both Pita and Cholnan are no longer party leaders as of today.
Chonnan is currently the Minister of Public Health. He resigned as Pheu Thai Party leader on August 30 to honour his electoral pledge that he would resign if his party joined a coalition with pro-junta Phalang Pracharath and the United Thai Nation Party.
Pita resigned as Move Forward’s leader on September 15 because he cannot be an opposition leader in the near future due to the court’s order of suspension from his duties as a MP. So he decided that the party should pick a new leader.
