Chief of Staff: War fatigue part of Russian narrative
In an interview with Politico, Volodymyr Zelenskyi's chief of staff Andriy Yermak attacks European and American leaders, who he believes risk losing focus on the war in Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The discussions about war fatigue are part of a Russian narrative to weaken Ukraine's allies, says Yermak, who compares the situation to that at the beginning of World War II and says the West cannot "afford to be tired."
- Think for a moment if Britain in 1939 had felt fed up with Poland, or if the US had been fed up with Britain. Had there been such a thing as Poland, Great Britain or Europe as we know it today?

Expert: Peace talks could increase Putin's appetite for war
If peace negotiations begin between Russia and Ukraine, it should be remembered that President Vladimir Putin is not known for keeping agreements. That's what Johan Norberg, security policy expert at the Total Defense Research Institute, told SvD.
- What worries me about peace talks and this type of signal is that it will increase the appetite for new wars for the Putin regime, he says.
According to Norberg, Putin could perceive such talks as Russian persistence leading to the West "bowing down".
Over the weekend, NBC News reported that the West has begun discussing possible peace talks with Kyiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy continues to deny that peace talks are on the table and says none of the country's allies are pressuring Ukraine to sit down with Russia.
