Russian frigate fired flare at Danish helicopter

A Danish Armed Forces helicopter was fired upon with "flares or pyrotechnics" from a Russian frigate, the military stated in a press release.

One of the flares passed close to the helicopter. The incident occurred during "routine photography" of the vessel in international waters off Gedser.

NATO fighter jets shot down a drone in Lithuania on Monday evening, the country's crisis management agency reported, according to Reuters.
