Bulgaria has decided to stop the deliveries of weapons from its own army's warehouses to Ukraine. The country's new Prime Minister Rumen Radev said this in connection with a government meeting on Wednesday, reports Ekot.

EU and NATO country Bulgaria's decision to stop the weapons to Ukraine represents a clear shift.

The recently elected Rumen Radev argues that the Ukraine war should be ended through diplomacy rather than military means.

- We have already given enough. Our country continues to suffer economically as a result of the war, he said on Wednesday, according to Ekot.

The weapons Bulgaria previously sent have been reimbursed by the EU.

Radev has been critical of extensive support for Ukraine and its military, and has long advocated dialogue with Russia.
