Deadly attacks as Ukraine celebrates independence
The waves of attacks are washing over Ukraine at the same time as European leaders gather in Kiev to celebrate the country's independence day.
Ukraine directs its attacks at a new target: another Russian e-commerce giant.

On the day four and a half years after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion war, leaders from the Coalition of the Willing - countries that support Ukraine - gather in the capital to mark Ukraine's national day on Monday.
Among the visitors is Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M). In a press release, she writes that Sweden is "unwavering" in its support for Ukraine's sovereignty and right to self-determination.
Highest level
The ceremony takes place after another night of Russian attacks. In Kharkiv, at least three people are reported to have been killed and eight injured, according to information from the region's governor, Oleh Synehubov, on Telegram.
In recent weeks, Russia has significantly escalated its attacks on its neighboring country. Kiev, among other places, has been hit hard and the number of civilian deaths is now at its highest level since the start of the war of invasion, writes AFP.
Russia is also reporting losses. Four people, including two children, were killed in a "massive attack" on the Russian city of Krasnodar during the night of Monday, claims Governor Veniamin Kondratjev on Telegram. Another seven children and two adults were injured in the attacks, according to Kondratjev.
Warehouses and logistics
The Ukrainian attack also hit a logistics center in Krasnodar belonging to the e-commerce giant Ozon. A large fire is said to have ravaged the facility, but according to Ozon, all personnel were able to be evacuated. Other warehouses in southern Russia were also evacuated due to drone threats.
The attacks on Ozon took place for the third night in a row, writes The Kyiv Independent. Ozon facilities in Samara and the St. Petersburg area have previously been hit.
Like Wildberry, which Ukraine has also targeted, Ozon is described as “Russia’s Amazon.” The companies’ facilities are considered easier to attack than military targets and cause great economic damage.
