New Deadly Israeli Attacks on the Gaza Strip
At least three people have been killed in new Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
Two people, including a four-year-old child, were killed in the town of Zawaida in the central part of the area on Sunday, the Hamas-controlled Civil Defense said. Several people were also reportedly injured in that attack.
Another person was killed in an attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The Israeli military said the target of one of the attacks was a terrorist, but made no other comments.
A ceasefire has been in place between Hamas, which is branded a terrorist, and Israel since October, but violence has continued, albeit with lower intensity.
