Carney's anger at Trump: "We have been attacked"

There is now a trade war between Canada and the US. This is what Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says after announcing that the country will introduce its own tariffs on American goods in response to Donald Trump's 50 percent punitive tariffs.

Canada's tariffs will be introduced on September 8 and Reuters writes that the relationship between the neighboring countries is now deteriorating further.

US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, who was involved in the failed negotiations, says that the US will take action against Canada's countermeasures.

- They have always had a good deal, and they could have gotten an even better deal, but they didn't want to, he tells Fox News.
