Defense Minister Israel Katz wants to expand Israel's "anti-terror operations" in the West Bank.

The Israeli military carried out raids on 300 locations in the West Bank during the day on Saturday. Now Katz is opening up for more raids.

- Similar measures are being considered, he says according to The Times of Israel.

Settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank is escalating. Several officers in the Israeli military are urging settlers to calm down. They want the government to tighten the legal process for settler groups that organize acts of violence against Palestinian villages, reports the newspaper Haaretz.

Opposition politician Yair Golan criticizes Katz and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's handling of the West Bank.

Golan accuses them of turning the West Bank into an electoral issue and “an arena of violence that threatens human life.”

On Friday, four Palestinians and two Israelis were killed in the town of Tell.
