Russian invasion The world's response

Burnham to give Zelensky the right to manufacture British drone defense

Great Britain is handing over the intellectual rights to its anti-drone system Stone Cloak to Ukraine. The Independent reports. This comes as Prime Minister Andy Burnham meets Volodymyr Zelensky in London today.

Ukraine will thus be able to start manufacturing its own Stone Cloak units, instead of being dependent on those previously donated by Britain.

According to Ukrainian Pravda, the jammer, which is so small that it can be carried with it, has already proven effective in the war against Russia.

Important days for Zelensky begin with Burnham visit

Volodymyr Zelensky will today be the first international leader to be welcomed in London by Britain's new Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

Zelensky's first appearance signals that British support for Ukraine is "unwavering," Burnham said, according to the AP.

The meeting kicks off an important week for the Ukrainian president, writes Radio Free Europe. The following day, Zelensky will travel to Washington, where he will meet with Donald Trump. In the United States, he will also attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, who was an outspoken pro-Ukraine supporter and visited Kyiv days before his death.

The visit thus gives Zelensky an opportunity to strengthen his support in political circles in Washington, writes Axios.
