Sharp rise in drone incidents in the UK

British military installations have been subjected to 340 drone incidents over the past twelve months, according to *The Independent*.

This marks an increase from 250 incidents in 2023 and 126 the year prior, the newspaper reports. The Ministry of Defence has not disclosed who is behind the drone activity targeting the UK, while experts warn of threats from Russia and Iran.

The figures emerge as Russia warns the UK regarding its arms shipments to Ukraine. Moscow has stated that even British military facilities in Ukraine used for attacks on Russian territory will be considered "legitimate targets."

On Friday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Moscow is planning hybrid attacks against NATO countries that support Ukraine.
