Ukraine and Finland have concluded several new cooperation agreements—including an arrangement that will grant Ukraine greater access to Finnish satellite technology.

This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who stated in a post on X that the Finnish companies Nokia and Iceeye are involved in the agreement regarding satellite capabilities.

"This is important for our defense and for Ukraine’s resilience," says Zelenskyy.

Finland is also donating ten diesel locomotives from a decommissioned train fleet, reports Yle.

"Receiving more locomotives, additional energy equipment, and resources to protect the energy sector represents real and significant support," writes Zelenskyy.

The announcement that seven different cooperation agreements had been signed was made on Thursday, coinciding with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s visit to Kyiv.
