"Stay indoors" – storm warning in Brussels
The Brussels fire department is urging residents to stay indoors as much as possible on Friday as Storm Austen moves in.
Wind gusts of up to 28 meters per second are forecast as the storm arrives on Friday afternoon, prompting a yellow weather warning for the Belgian capital, reports the newspaper *Le Soir*.
Along the coast, the warning is orange, with concerns regarding even stronger winds. The storm is then expected to move on toward the United Kingdom.
Due to the storm, a large Indian festival in Brussels scheduled for this weekend has been postponed until November.
