The ceasefire will begin on October 27, after which emergency aid is to be delivered and residents evacuated via humanitarian corridors.
Both sides also confirm that Melania Trump played a significant role in securing the ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Zelenskyy states that Ukraine, Russia, and the United States have agreed to hold trilateral talks at the official level in Abu Dhabi next month.

Trump: I know Musk – he would never do anything wrong
Donald Trump has not spoken with SpaceX owner Elon Musk regarding Ukraine’s ongoing issues with Starshield—the military version of Starlink—according to the American president, as reported by The Guardian.
Trump says that if there are indeed problems, as Ukraine claims, he will ensure they are “resolved.” The president rejects the suggestion that Musk wields too much power over such a critical military system.
“Elon would never do anything wrong. I know him well; he is a fair person.”
Earlier this week, sources told The Wall Street Journal that Musk had issued orders to impose restrictions on Ukraine.
Starlink issues remain unresolved: “Nothing has changed”
Ukraine continues to experience problems with the military version of Starlink, according to Ukrainian officials cited by The Washington Post.
Denys Sienik, Ukraine’s Chargé d’Affaires in the U.S., wrote on X on Friday that Ukraine is still waiting.
“Unfortunately, nothing has changed.”
As before, the issue involves speed restrictions on drones, which have hindered defense efforts against Russian attacks.
According to sources—including those cited by The Wall Street Journal—Donald Trump reportedly called SpaceX owner Elon Musk earlier this week and asked him to lift the restrictions.
