SpaceX’s Journey as a Public Company

AI Growth Propels SpaceX Forward

SpaceX saw a sharp increase in profit, with revenue surging by 161 percent in the third quarter compared to the same period last year. This performance was driven by strong growth in the Starlink satellite business and in AI.

The AI division—which the company now refers to as "superintelligence"—saw its revenue skyrocket by 830 percent.

Meanwhile, massive investments continued; the company poured $16.4 billion into AI alone during the quarter.

The market appeared to react favorably to SpaceX’s second quarterly report as a publicly traded company—the stock rose 5 percent in U.S. after-hours trading.

SpaceX and Tesla Begin Discussions on a Mega-Merger

SpaceX and Tesla have begun merger talks, with both companies establishing special committees to handle the matter, according to Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal. Elon Musk himself has expressed support for consolidating his empire into a single entity.

"There is much to be gained from collaborating on the development of software for superintelligence," he stated in a comment regarding SpaceX’s quarterly report, which was released earlier this evening.
