Kim was seen in the Austrian city - met with the red carpet
On Tuesday, images were published of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un stepping off his armored train in the city of Chasan, on the Russian side of the Tume River that forms the border between the countries, AP reports.
The photos were shown on Telegram by Oleg Kozjemjako, governor of the Primorskij kraj region. When Kim arrived, he was met with the red carpet rolled out by Kozjemjako and a brass section.
Chasan is around 13 kilometers south of Vladivostok, where Russian President Putin is for an economic conference. Where the two leaders will meet is not yet clear - but the space base Vostotjny Kosmodrom, further north in the country, has been highlighted as a possible meeting place, according to the BBC.

The earthquake in Morocco
The death toll in Morocco approaches 3,000
By Tuesday afternoon, the death toll from the earthquake in Morocco had risen to 2,901, Reuters reports. At the same time, the number of injured more than doubled to 5,530, according to state television.
Almost four days after the disaster, there is a desperate fight against the clock to save survivors. In many places in the hard-to-reach, worst-affected area in the Atlas Mountains, criticism has been directed at what was perceived as a slow rescue effort.
The Red Cross is now appealing for the equivalent of over one billion kroner in emergency aid to meet the most urgent needs for water, housing, health care and hygiene.
- We must ensure that we avoid a second wave of disaster, says operations manager Caroline Holt according to AFP.
