The wedding fire in Iraq
The bride and groom managed to escape: "We are sitting here in front of you - but we are dead inside"
Bride and groom Revan, 27, and Haneen, 18, were initially believed to have died in the massive fire in the Assyrian city of Qaraqosh in Iraq on Tuesday. Sky News reports that they managed to escape the kitchen road.
The heavy wedding dress prevented Haneen from running. Her new husband managed to drag her through the kitchen entrance while other escapees trampled her down.
119 people have been confirmed dead, 80 are being treated in hospital and an unknown number of the around 1,000 guests are still missing.
Revan says that there was only one fire extinguisher in the premises and that it did not work. He states that 15 of his family members died in the fire and that his wife "cannot speak" after losing ten of her relatives, including her mother and brother.
For her father, the situation is described as critical. - Our relatives, friends, our loved ones. Everyone is gone [...] Certainly we are sitting here in front of you. But inside we are dead, says Revan to Sky News.

Success: The solar probe is not affected by Earth's forces
The Indian space agency ISRO's plan is for the solar probe Aditya L1 to end up in orbit around the sun. An important interim goal has now been achieved, several media reports.
According to a statement from ISRO, the space probe has now reached a position where it is no longer affected by Earth's forces. The probe was sent up on September 2 and first had to travel around the earth for a few weeks, in this way less fuel was required during the further journey into space, writes TT.
In total, it will travel 1.5 million kilometers over four months before reaching the final destination L1, one of the solar system's so-called Lagrange points.
By that is meant places where the gravitational pull of celestial bodies cancels each other out, so that satellites and probes can remain relatively easily without having to adjust their position with rockets.
