Iran War
Iranian Spokesperson Hits Back at Trump: Bluffing
Iran's spokesman for foreign and security policy, Ebrahim Rezaei, accuses Donald Trump of bluffing, writes Expressen.
The statement comes after Trump first said that they would hit Iran "very hard", only to change his mind that a peace agreement could be signed this weekend.
Rezaei now calls on Iran to attack the United States.
"Hit harder, destroy and wipe out the enemy's infrastructure, economic centers and AI facilities, so that they feel more pain", he writes on X.
He does not comment on whether a peace agreement is on the table. But according to information to Axios, only approval from Iran's supreme leader is missing.

Expert: Trump's peace proposal is no coincidence – wants to boost stock market during "important week"
It is no coincidence that Donald Trump's statement that the Iran war has ended came just yesterday. This is what Carnegie's international strategist Henrik von Sydow tells EFN.
He notes that it is an "important week" for Trump – the World Cup is starting and he turns 80 on Sunday. In addition, the US National Day is around the corner and Trump wants to show "strength and a strong stock market climate".
According to von Sydow, there is another explanation for Trump's desire to see rising stock markets right now, namely the SpaceX IPO on Friday afternoon.
- Donald Trump does not want to be the reason why SpaceX gets off to a bad start.
So far on Friday, stock markets have risen and oil prices have fallen. At the same time, Iran has said that no final negotiations will begin until the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has been lifted, according to Iranian state media.
