Police knew about “attack list” in Belfast
Addresses to properties that have been affected during the violent protests in Belfast in recent days were on an “attack list” that the police have had for several months.
A
volunteer group that monitors far-right and anti-immigrant activity
online has sent dozens of reports to the police since November 2025,
writes The Guardian.
The group Accountability Project Northern
Ireland warned, among other things, of an “attack list” and that
far-right individuals had a growing focus on apartment buildings.
According
to the information, the list of addresses has been circulating in
far-right groups since August 2025 and was sent to the police in January
2026.
The addresses were among the places affected in the violence that broke out over the past week.
