A woman was given a three-year suspended sentence on Monday by the Criminal Court for defaming the monarchy on TikTok in relation to COVID-19 pandemic. The Criminal Court on Monday dismissed a criminal defamation lawsuit against Move Forward Party MP Ruckchanok Srinork filed by two TV hosts Anchalee Pairirak and Kanok Rattanawongsakul. UPDATE: Police said at a press conference Monday afternoon the teenage student killer has no record of being a "special needs" student as earlier reported by some media, according to the school. He also has no history of violence or use of marijuana. Police added the knife used is still missing. Bangkok governor Chadchart Sittipunt meanwhile said schools in Bangkok have no weapon screening machine.
