TV star Fu Xiaotian took a selfie on the flight home. She has not been seen since.  

 

Now the disappearance is linked to another mystery.  

 

Fu Xiaotian has not been heard from since April 10. Then she wrote to her followers that she intended to travel home to Beijing from Los Angeles. 

 

“The last time I flew this plane by myself was from Los Angeles to Washington for a business trip. It is both gratifying and sad that it turned out to be the last interview I did for "Conversations with World Leaders," she wrote at the time, referring to the program she hosted on Chinese television.

The TV star also published a selfie from the airplane seat with her son in her arms.  

 

Since then, there has been silence from Fu Xiaotian, writes the New York Post. 

 

It is said to be unclear if she even landed in China after her post in April.  

 

All speculations and information about her have been removed from Chinese social media.  

 

According to censored information from inside China, her disappearance is linked to another mystery that captivated the world this spring, the newspaper writes.

By then, the 57-year-old had already been removed from his post for several months without explanation. The mystery led to much speculation about what was behind it.  

 

Qin Gang was previously close to China's leader Xi Jingping and was removed just seven months after he was given the top post in the government.
