Kim arrives in Russia ahead of meeting with Putin  

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un and the armored train he travels with have arrived in Russia. That's what international news agencies write with reference to the state-run Russian news agency Ria Novosti.

On Tuesday, Kim is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a meeting that has sparked speculation that North Korea may be ready to discuss arms deliveries for Russia's war of invasion of Ukraine.  

It is unclear exactly when and where in Russia the leaders will meet. However, several media point to the city of Vladivostok in eastern Russia, 13 miles from the border with North Korea, as a possible location.

Kremlin: Kim Jong-Un's visit will be "full scale" "

A full-scale visit". This is how Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov describes the upcoming meeting between North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin, writes Reuters.  

- Talks will be held between the two delegations. And then, if necessary, the leaders will continue their face-to-face communication, says Petrov. 

According to South Korean sources, Kim is already on his way to Russia in an armored train - the same means of transport used by his father and successor Kim Jong-Il on his trips abroad.  

The visit abroad is said to be his first in four years, and as far as is known, will be his second ever in Russia.

Putin wants to triple Russian LNG production in the Arctic  

Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to triple the production of liquefied natural gas, LNG, in the Arctic. He says so in a speech at an economic conference in Vladivostok in eastern Russia. 

The goal is 64 million tons per year by 2030 at the latest. Putin wants to expand gas pipelines in both western and eastern Russia in order to make exports "more flexible".  

Later in the day, Putin is expected to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
