Trump's USA Trump critics indicted
Trump-critical ex-adviser pleads guilty
Donald Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton pleads guilty. Several media outlets report this.
The crime is that he shared over 1,000 pages of classified information about the US defense with two family members who lived with him, according to USA Today. He is said to have sent "diary-like" posts about his daily work tasks via private accounts in common messaging apps.
By pleading guilty, Bolton could have his prison sentence shortened or avoid prison altogether. He has also agreed to pay the equivalent of 21 million kronor in damages, according to NBC. The verdict will be handed down on October 28.
