5,000 Soldiers in Pattaya: “Behave Yourself”

The Thai resort town of Pattaya is teeming with American soldiers after the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln docked after more than 250 days at sea. According to NBC News, the city was almost empty on Tuesday before the 5,000 Americans arrived on Wednesday.

As the soldiers disembarked, a message came out from a commander over the loudspeaker system.

– Behave yourself.

According to The Independent, Thai police have been properly equipped and researchers have warned of increased sexual exploitation.

Several people were injured when gunfire broke out between employees of the Ukrainian intelligence services SBU and HUR in Kyiv on Wednesday, writes The Guardian.

According to the newspaper, it happened after the SBU arrested a Russian man fighting for Ukraine under the leadership of HUR.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyj calls the incident “shameful” and an SBU chief has been fired.
