The search of Prince Andrew's former home was unlawful.
Earlier this year, police conducted a search of the home of the British Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. However, a London court ruled that the decision to conduct the search was unlawful.
On February 19, police briefly detained the prince—on suspicion of misconduct in public office—and searched his residences at the royal family's country estate, Sandringham, and at Windsor.
His lawyers have challenged the legality of the operation, and a judge has now ruled that the Thames Valley Police committed serious errors in their application for the search warrant.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor denies the allegations, which are linked to the Epstein scandal.
