French Jews flee to Israel: "Concern for my children"
The number of Jews wanting to leave France for Israel has increased dramatically since the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, the Times of Israel reports. According to Israeli authorities, French applications to move to Israel have increased by 430 percent since the attack.
- I can no longer see myself living in France with everything that is happening. I am worried about my children every day, it is no longer a life, says a mother in Paris to the newspaper.
Freddo Pachter, at the Israeli Ministry of Integration, says they are seeing a change in the types of people applying to move to Israel. In the past, it has mostly been about people who had a tough time at work and socially. But now it's well-established people like doctors, engineers and lawyers.
Between October 7 and mid-November, more than 1,500 anti-Semitic incidents were reported in France. That is three times more than in the whole of 2022.

Hezbollah: 62 robots against Israel as a "first response" to the deadly drone attack
Hezbollah has fired 62 missiles at an Israeli military base, the Lebanese militia group said in a statement. The
group, which is classified as a terrorist by the US and the EU, says
that the attack should be seen as a "first response" to the
second-highest leader of the terrorist group Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri, who
was killed in a drone strike in Lebanon earlier this week.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah recently warned that the war between Israel and Hamas would escalate and spread in the region. He has also promised a response after the attack on al-Arouri.
Israel has not confirmed that it was behind the attack in Lebanon. They have also not denied involvement in the incident.
