Ukraine is ready for a security agreement with the United States.

President Zelenskyj says they will work "24/7".

- We have proposed the fastest and most constructive path.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has met with US envoy Keith Kelloggs to discuss the war against Russia.

According to Zelenskyj, they had "good discussions and many important details".

"It is important for us - and the entire free world" that the American force is noticed. We had detailed conversations about the situation on the battlefield and how to get our prisoners of war back".

Earlier in the day, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant said that Zelensky had agreed to a deal in which the US would gain access to Ukrainian minerals worth $500 billion.

The announcement comes after Donald Trump demanded rare earth metals in exchange for continued support.

Now Zelensky says that he is ready for a security agreement with the US.

"We have proposed the fastest and most constructive path to achieving results. Our team is ready to work 24/7," Zelensky writes on X.

Ukraine is ready to conclude a security agreement with the US. This is what President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on X after meeting with Donald Trump's envoy in Kiev.

Zelensky's meeting with envoy Keith Kellogg was "good," the president wrote, praising the United States for "all assistance and support."

"It is important for us - and for the entire free world - that the strength of the United States is felt. We had an in-depth conversation about the situation on the battlefield, how to return prisoners of war and effective security guarantees," he wrote.

Zelensky said before the meeting that he was convinced that it was possible to end the war with a lasting peace, "in such a way that Russia will never be able to invade Ukraine again."

After the meeting, he repeated his words and wrote that Ukraine is ready to conclude a "strong and effective" agreement on investment and security with the United States.

"We have proposed the fastest and most effective way to achieve results," he wrote without going into further details. However, the post suggests that he is at least partially meeting President Donald Trump.

Trump is said to have demanded Ukrainian raw materials, assets and infrastructure in exchange for continued assistance in the war against Russia. This includes so-called rare earth metals, which Ukraine is estimated to have large quantities of.

“Success unites us all. The whole world benefits from strong ties between Ukraine and the United States,” Zelensky writes.
