Report: Western parts in North Korea's robots against Ukraine

Electronics from companies in the US, Switzerland, UK, and the Netherlands have been found in a North Korean robot shot down over Ukraine. This is stated by the independent Ukrainian anti-corruption commission Nako.

- All the components absolutely constitute a violation of the sanctions against Russia that were introduced after the country's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, says Viktorija Vyshnivska, senior investigator at Nako.

She also points out that "similar though not identical" sanctions have been in place against North Korea since long before the outbreak of war.

North Korea has supplied Russia with large quantities of material for the war in Ukraine, including robots of the current type KN-23 and KN-24.

Survey: One in three voters believe immigrants are 'poisoning America's blood'

More than one in three American voters agree with Donald Trump's claim that undocumented migrants are "poisoning America's blood". This is reported by Axios, which took part in a new survey from the think tank Brookings Institution and the non-profit organization PRRI.

Within the Republicans, 61 percent answer yes, within the Democrats 13 percent, and among independents 30 percent.

Robert Jones, president of PRRI, describes the results as "truly alarming".

- That language comes straight from "Mein Kampf". This about poisoning blood, that's Nazi rhetoric, he says.

It was in December 2023 that Donald Trump accused the Biden administration of "poisoning the blood of the United States" by letting in immigrants. As far as we know, he has not used the expression in 2024.
