Data: Leak reveals Israel's plan for Iran attack

Israel's plans for an attack on Iran may have been leaked via the US, reports Haaretz.

The documents are said to have been posted by a pro-Iranian account that says they were leaked from the US Department of Defense.

Haaretz says it has not been able to verify the authenticity of the documents, but an Israeli source tells the paper that the US has apologized for the leak.

The planned attack is supposed to be a response to Iran's attack on Israel on the first of October this year.

Sources in the US: Two documents - worrying if there are more

Anonymous American sources confirm to CNN that intelligence documents regarding Israeli plans for an attack on Iran were leaked from the US.

It is described as "very troubling" but a source says the leak is "bad, but not terrible".

- The concern is whether there is more.

The documents were published by a pro-Iran account on Telegram. They are classified and only the United States and a few allied countries would have access to them. Right now, they are investigating who had access to the documents, and according to CNN, the FBI will probably investigate the leak together with the Pentagon.
