Ben-Gvir: Proud of poor prison conditions
Israel's ultra-conservative Security Minister is proud of the deteriorating conditions for Palestinian prisoners, he says in a video posted on social media on Sunday.
The video, where the faces of the prisoners are blurred, shows Ben-Gvir visiting Palestinian female prisoners. A veiled woman says the prisoners live in "extremely bad" conditions.
- We haven't washed ourselves in three days and haven't changed our underwear, says the woman.
The minister responds that the hostages taken by terrorist Hamas in connection with the attacks on October 7, 2023 lived in similar conditions.
- Our hostage had no shampoo, says Ben-Gvir.
– I am proud that we have succeeded in reducing the prison conditions of terrorists to an absolute minimum.
