Zelensky: Good talks with Witkoff and Kushner

President Volodymyr Zelensky has spoken by phone with US negotiators and planned an upcoming visit to Ukraine.

“Such a trip would be very beneficial for finding solutions for peace,” Zelensky writes in a post on X.

Zelensky describes the conversation with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner as “good” and “detailed and constructive.”

“I also informed them about the situation on the battlefield, where Russia’s progress has been sparse and has cost enormous losses,” Zelensky writes.

Witkoff and Kushner have, so far without noticeable success, led American efforts to end Russia’s war of invasion.
