Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City on Monday killed at least five people, according to hospital sources.

Israel claims the attacks were aimed at “military operatives” from the terrorist group Hamas.

Israel is repeatedly attacking targets in Gaza despite a formal ceasefire in the war.

On Monday, the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City confirmed that it had received five dead and several injured in separate raids. In one Israeli strike, the entrance to a residential building was attacked, and in a separate raid, a drone hit a car.

Israeli operations have killed more than 1,300 people since the US-led ceasefire began in October.
