Politician's text message: Should we change jobs?
An Australian right-wing politician has admitted that he texted "my job is boring - should we change?" during a meeting. However, he does not want to admit that the message was sent to a prostitute.
Mark Parton - leader of the right-wing Liberal Party in the Canberra region - was accused this week of sending the message to a prostitute, according to local media.
"And fuck, my job is boring. Should we change?", the politician wrote from a committee meeting in July, according to information to the Canberra Times.
Parton initially denied the whole story, calling it smearing. On Thursday he admitted to journalists that he sent the text message. He doesn't want to say who, but denies that it was to a sex worker.
