Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey will hold a regional summit on Friday, Saudi sources say.

During the meeting, which is reportedly to be held in the Saudi port city of Jeddah, the security situation in the region will be discussed, according to sources close to the Saudi government.

Earlier on Thursday, the Turkish presidential office said that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will travel to Saudi Arabia and meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shebaz Sharif.
