If Nikki Haley couldn't even win in New Hampshire, she probably won't win anywhere, writes Fivethirtyeight. The state was her best chance and now it is "quite likely" that Trump will win all 56 primaries.
The statistics site lists several reasons why the state's demographics actually suited Trump uniquely poorly.
Before the election, the site had also developed a model that calculated the presidential candidates' support in various states based on political and demographic factors. According to the model, New Hampshire was Haley's best state and Trump's second worst. Nevertheless, he won the night's election by over ten percentage points.
The conclusion is that something dramatic must happen in order for Trump not to become the Republican candidate in the fall election.

Trump wins the New Hampshire primary – but Haley comes closer than expected
Donald Trump takes an easy victory in the Republican primaries in New Hampshire, the AP and several other American media outlets are correct in their forecasts. With 91 percent of the votes counted, Trump gets 54.5 percent of the support, against Nikki Haley at 43.2.
At the same time, it is clear that there will be no landslide victory for Trump, states Politico. In the last polls before the election, he led by around 20 percentage points.
During the night, Trump and several of the Republicans lining up behind him - including Vivek Ramaswamy and Elise Stefanik - called on Nikki Haley to give up her bid to become the party's nominee. But in a speech Haley says the fight is "far from over".
In a comment to Fox News, Trump says he is "very honored". He is already looking ahead to the presidential election this autumn.
- I am looking forward to facing the worst president in our country's history, he says.

Trump in angry victory speech: "She had a very bad evening"
Donald Trump saw Nikki Haley because her performance last night sounded like a victory speech, even though she also lost the New Hampshire primary. In his own victory speech, he generally spent a good deal of time mocking Haley.
- This is not a typical victory number, but she should not count home a victory when she had a very bad night. She had a very bad night, says Trump.
At one point in the speech, he looked at Senator Tim Scott, who was on stage with Trump. He has sided with the ex-president despite being from the same state as Nikki Haley and despite the fact that she has previously promoted him through the ranks within the party.
- You must really hate her, Trump said, whereupon Scott quickly added that he rather loves Trump.
Several American media noted that Trump sounded magnanimous after the win in Iowa, but that in this speech he rather seemed angry.
