Climate activists occupy forest near German Tesla factory
Climate activists have occupied the forest at Tesla's gigafactory in Grünheide, Germany to protest the planned expansion. This is reported by Focus.
It is about 80 people who are said to have put up posters and built treehouses, the magazine writes on its website.
About a week ago, a non-binding referendum was held in which a majority of the city's residents rejected the expansion. The activists state that they do not trust that the politicians will take the will of the people into account.

The Swedes are shopping again: "We have passed the worst"
The Swedish economy continues to shrink, but household consumption is picking up, recent Statistics Sweden figures show.
- It could be that we have passed the worst. Purchasing power is on the way back, says Länsförsäkringar's chief economist Alexandra Stråberg to TT.
She assesses that the Swedish economy now appears to be headed for a soft landing.
SEB economist Robert Bergqvist believes that the upswing in trade is due to increased predictability, which gives households a sense of relief. He writes that on X.
During the fourth quarter, household consumption increased by 0.7 percent, compared to the previous quarter. Shopping continued in January, where retail sales volume rose by 0.4 percent on a monthly basis.
