Election Officer: If our elections are boring - go to the theater
Today, Belarus goes to the polls. At least in the technical sense of the word. According to most observers, the elections are unfree and completely in the pocket of Aleksandr Luksashenko's regime, writes Politico.
All four parties standing in the election are united behind the incumbent president.
- If someone thinks our elections are boring, then there is always the circus, the theater or concerts, says Igor Karpenko, head of the country's elections in a television broadcast.
