Traffic chaos in Oslo ahead of Harald's funeral

Tomorrow, Norway's King Harald will be laid to rest. An influx of guests is causing traffic chaos in Oslo.
Long queues characterize Tuesday morning traffic through the Norwegian capital. The police have blocked off highway 159 through Oslo ahead of Wednesday's funeral.
- It will of course be noticeable, says Tomas Eriksen at Vegtrafikksentralen to Romerikes Blad.
Traffic is also severely restricted on the E6 between Gardermoen Airport and Oslo.
- Our most important message is that everyone must prepare for very demanding traffic conditions on both September 8 and 9, says Anne Grethe Hestenes at Statens vegvesen, Norway's equivalent of the Transport Administration.
A long line of royalty and political figures are expected in Oslo today and tomorrow. On Tuesday morning, the Danish royal ship Dannebrog is heading into the Oslo Fjord, writes the Danish news agency Ritzau.
