Middle East Crisis Iran War

Information: US Missed – Bombed Wedding in Iran

A US bomb most likely missed its target in Iran last week, and instead hit a wedding celebration nearby. This is according to a source from the Pentagon's investigations to the Washington Post.

According to the source, the target was a military communications center in a residential area in the coastal city of Kuhestak, located on the Strait of Hormuz. US fighter jets are said to have dropped six bombs on the target. Five of them hit, but not the sixth.

The building where the wedding celebration was held was located around 130 meters from the target. According to Iranian authorities and the Red Crescent, at least four people were killed, including two children, and dozens were injured.

Iran: To Establish No-Go Zone in Strait of Hormuz

Iran intends to establish a “no-go zone” in the sea near the Strait of Hormuz, the country’s top security chief Mohsen Rezaei said on state television, according to AFP.

– This zone will start at the US Navy’s blockade line and include areas in the Persian Gulf. All ships that enter this zone will be placed on Iran’s sanctions list, he said.

The US and Iran have escalated ship attacks on each other this week after a month of calm.
