Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets in Tel Aviv to express their dissatisfaction with Israel’s incumbent government.

In three days—Tuesday, October 27—Israelis will head to the polls for the first time since the Hamas terror attack on October 7, 2023.

The election is being described as a referendum on the current Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Whoever has been leading us for the past four years (since Netanyahu’s government took office in late 2022) has done a terrible job,” 68-year-old Hadas Feuershtein told AFP.

“Israel has never been in such a bad situation as it is now.”

The demonstration is organized by a group formed by the families of hostages who were taken captive during the Hamas terror attack.

The group is demanding an independent state commission to investigate how the massacre could have occurred and how the aftermath is being handled.
