In a televised speech, Putin calls the explosion an act of terrorism.
- Undermining the Crimean Bridge is a terrorist attack aimed at destroying Russia's critical infrastructure, he says.
Aleksandr Bastrykin, the head of Russia's Federal Investigation Agency, claims that the explosion on the bridge was planned by Ukrainian security forces, writes VG.
Bastrykin also claims that "foreign powers and foreigners" helped Ukraine prepare the attack.
The explosion occurred early Saturday morning.
The mega-bridge connects the annexed Crimean peninsula with Russia.

Zelensky's words after the terrorist accusation
An hour after Putin's terror statement, the Ukrainian president made a
comment in a speech on Telegram.
- The constant terror against the civilian population is an obvious
Russian refusal to participate in real negotiations.
- I am grateful to everyone who helps us stand against terror, he
continues.
In the speech, Zelenskyy refers to the attacks that hit the city of
Zaporizhzhya on the night of Sunday.
A total of 40 buildings were
damaged and at least 17 people were killed.
Zelenskyy says the majority of Russian attacks are targeting civilian
infrastructure in Ukraine.
