Isabel Dos Santos, 49, is said to be Africa's richest woman.

She is wanted all over the world, suspected of corruption.

Now Interpol has classified her as "red" and wants the help of all countries.

Isabel Dos Santos, 49, is the daughter of Angola's former president and is said to be the richest woman in Afrika. She is now wanted internationally and Interpol has classified her case as "red", reports Reuters.

This means that police authorities around the world are being asked to assist in locating her and subsequently apprehending her.

Accused of corruption

She has been suspected of corruption for several years and is accused of having, together with her husband, transferred large sums of state money, around 1 billion dollars, to companies in which they themselves owned shares. She has repeatedly denied the allegations.

After Interpol classified her as "red", Reuters sought a spokesperson for dos Santos, but without success.

The Portuguese news agency Lusa is said to have obtained documents in which it is stated that she is usually in Portugal, Great Britain and the United Arab Emirates.
