Five richest people doubled their wealth in three years
The top five richest people in the world - Elon Musk, Bernard Arnault, Jeff Bezos, Larry Ellison and Warren Buffett - have a combined fortune of almost SEK 9,000 billion. The group has thus more than doubled its total wealth since 2020, according to Oxfam.
In conjunction with the WEF in Davos, Oxfam urges governments to rein in the power of the economic elite, reports Reuters. Among other things, the organization suggests that one should get better at breaking up monopolies, taxing excess profits and wealth and allowing wage earners to become shareholders in the companies.

Volvo is said to be reducing production at the Tuve factory
The truck giant Volvo plans to reduce production at the Tuvefabriken in Gothenburg by just over 10 percent. This is because the demand for new vehicles has decreased, Ekot learns.
According to the information, the reduced production rate applies from the end of February, but there is nothing that is confirmed by the company.
For the radio, Volvo states that "no decision has been made" but that during the year it will be necessary to adapt production to reduced demand.
The downsizing will probably mean that temporary employees are forced to quit, but how many are still unclear. According to Ekot, a reduction in production in Gothenburg could also affect other of Volvo's factories.
