Zelenskyy in Granada - wants to strengthen air defense
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Granada, Spain, where some 50 EU leaders are gathering for a summit, writes Bloomberg.
Zelenskyy wants to secure support for Ukraine's defense against Russia's aggression, especially in terms of strengthening the air defense ahead of winter.
According to the news agency, there is an increasingly widespread perception in Kyiv that arms support from the United States is threatened by the political chaos in Washington DC.

Azerbaijan boycotts the EU summit in Granada
The migration, the tense situation between Serbia and Kosovo, the unrest in Nagorno-Karabakh and Russia's war against Ukraine. These are some of the heaviest questions when EU leaders meet in Granada, Spain today.
According to Al Jazeera, there are hopes that the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo will be able to agree to hold talks after the recent escalation at the border.
EU leaders had also hoped that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan would meet face to face at the meeting. But Aliyev is absent after angering what he sees as pro-Armenia bias on the part of France and Germany.
Another who does not appear is Turkish President Erdogan.
