Paris museum Louvre evacuated after suspected bomb threat
The Louvre art museum in Paris was evacuated on Saturday due to "security reasons". Police sources told French BFMTV that it was a suspected bomb threat.
- The Louvre received a written message saying that there were risks for the museum and its visitors, a spokesperson for the Louvre told AFP.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident. According to the museum, the measures have links to the increase in the terror threat level, which was made on Friday after the knife attack against a school in the city of Arras.
The museum announces on platform X that it will be closed for the rest of the day.
