Attacked school in Arras bomb threat - evacuated
The school in Arras in northern France where a teacher was stabbed to death last week has been evacuated after a bomb threat, reports AFP.
According to local authorities, the bomb threat was made online and about ten students and employees must have left the school during the morning.
- It wouldn't surprise me if it was a joke, says a mother who came to the school with her two daughters to leave flowers, to Le Fiagaro.
- I hope it won't be like this all the time now.

Barriers around art fair in Paris after terrorist threat
Due
to the increased terrorist threat level, security is being tightened
around the international art fair Paris+ by Art Basel, which opens on
October 18 in Paris, reports
The Art Newspaper.
Barriers
are being erected around the Grand Palais Éphémère exhibition hall
located in the Champ de Mars park in central Paris overlooking the
Eiffel Tower. Visitors
must be searched and checked with metal detectors, and the possibility
of leaving outerwear and bags in a wardrobe is removed.
In an email to invited guests, the fair director refers to the war in the Middle East and the school attack in France. On October 13, a former student stabbed a teacher to death and injured two in a school in Arras. The
terror threat level was raised to the highest in France, and the
following day the museum closed the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles
after threats.
