BREAKING: Three monarchy-reform activists were sentenced to prison on Tuesday for defaming the court, violating the COVID-19 emergency decree and causing disturbances during a rally in 2021, said Thai Lawyers for Human Rights. Somyot Prueksakasemsuk was sentenced to one year and nine months in prison and fined 30,100 baht while Benja Appan and Nanchanon Pairoj slapped with the same fine but given a slightly lighter prison sentence of one year and eight months. #Thailand #WhatsHappeningInThailand
