Kremlin summons French ambassador: 'Growing role'
On Friday, Russia summoned France's ambassador to complain about what it claims is France's "growing" role in the Ukraine war, reports AFP.
It comes days after the Kremlin claimed without evidence that the Russian army killed a group of French mercenaries in an attack on Kharkiv.
France has categorically denied that it has any mercenaries in Ukraine. A spokesperson for the State Department calls it "another clumsy Russian manipulation."
According to Ukrainian authorities, twelve civilians and some homes were damaged in the current Russian attack on Tuesday.

Troop transport through Sweden in new NATO exercise
Thousands of American soldiers will cross northern Sweden during the largest NATO exercise ever in March-April, reports SVT Nyheter.
- The exercise scenario assumes that there is an escalation that has resulted in direct combat actions being carried out up in northern Scandinavia, says Carl-Johan Edström, head of the Armed Forces' operations management, to the channel.
The exercise is partly aimed at deterring Russian attacks, according to Carl-Johan Edström. It places high demands on logistics and planning in order to get food, fuel and housing for the soldiers without too much disruption to civilian society.
