Russian invasion

Oil market
Experts: Oil could reach $120 – back to square one

If the war and oil shortages continue this fall, the world will be forced to cut consumption by 10 percent, says commodity analyst Christian Kopfer to SVT Nyheter.

If the trend continues, we will also “quite quickly” see oil prices from last spring, when they climbed to $120 per barrel, Kopfer tells DI. He does not rule out that they will climb even higher.

Anders Rudolfsson, investment strategist at the Bank of Åland, makes a similar assessment.

“We are back to square one, as it was in March,” he tells DI.

At 7 p.m. on Monday, a barrel of Brent oil was trading around $88.50, while WTI oil cost just under $82.

Defense boom
Saab has increased tenfold – climbing in Investor's portfolio

In the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Saab has gone from one of the Wallenberg company Investor's smallest holdings in the portfolio to the third largest, writes Affärsvärlden.

Since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022, Saab's share has increased tenfold and the company's market capitalization has grown from SEK 31 billion to today's SEK 310 billion. The investment company owns almost a third of the shares in Saab, the newspaper notes.
